Fun Days
This fun activity is held as often as possible, and usually about six times in every year, is formulated to encompass enjoyable activities with Golden Retrievers.
Their main aim is to bring together members, experienced Golden owners, people interested in purchasing a Golden puppy, and those with pets who do not participate in any of the formal dog world activities such as showing, obedience and retrieving.
Anyone who is interested in or owns a Golden Retriever is invited to participate in the activities of the day. These days are for Members Goldens, Golden family pets, neutered Goldens & Golden Oldies.
ALL WELCOME
Goldens and owners are encouraged to participate in all types of fun games, a little conformation showing, basic obedience and fun retrieving.
Grooming demonstrations are always a popular feature, with advice on health and care freely given by experienced Golden owners.
For those who would like to know a little more about taking their Golden into the show ring, handler classes are often held.
Breed information and education on Goldens is readily available at these functions.
Golden Retriever memorabilia, books and doggie necessities are available to purchase at our fun days check out our Merchandise Store.
Golden Fun Days commence around midday, and held at various locations in and around Adelaide. Catering is usually provided.
Funday are held approximately 4 times per year, plus our Christmas Break-Up – check your Golden Era for upcoming events and check back here regularly for any updates.
