April Fun Day - Sunday 13th April 2014 – All Welcome
Sunday 13 April 2014, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Tangari Regional Park, Woodcroft
(see map for location and directions)
Would you like to find out more about retrieving trials, and get some basic training
for your dog? Then join us for a retrieving workshop with Graeme Allen, and learn
about the sport which celebrates what these dogs were originally bred for.
Dogs will need to be on lead during Graeme's presentation and the practice sessions, but there will be plenty of time for off-leash play afterwards.
You can bring your own
training dummy if you have one, however it is not necessary to do so.
So load up the car with your lawn chairs, camp tables and picnic rugs; pack a picnic
lunch and beverages for yourselves, and don't forget water for your dogs.
Sweets and treats will be provided. Tethering stakes can be used at this site.
If you are not a member of the GRCSA but would like to join,
please see Renée or Maggie on the day for more information.
Meet in the field next to the car park at the southeast corner of the park. The easiest
approach is from Reynell Road. Travelling east, turn right on to Pine Road, just before the entrance to the Vines Golf Club, and proceed to the intersection of Pimpala Road.
(See Map 177 in the UBD/Gregory's Street Directory.) If the plans must be changed for any reason, updates will be posted on the Club's
if in doubt, send a text to 0403 159 990.
